After the unprecedented win againts two great figthers, Ricky “Hitman” Hatton and Oscar “Golden Boy” Dela Hoya, Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao has cemented his status as the world best and #1 pound-for-pound boxer in the world, ending the game even, many boxing expert never expected. Two bouts with totally unexpected results.
Manny has nothing to prove anymore. Topping six division title, if we were to include Ring Super-Featherweight Championship againts Marco Antonio Barrera in 2003, he’s currently, no doubt, the best fighter in the world.
Ooopppsss.. what about Flloyd?
Now that Flloyd has announced his comeback and will be fighting Juan Manuel Marquez in December, is he thinking of fighting Pacquiao after Marquez?
Claiming as the best fighter on his era, Flloyd Mayweather is talking to a wall now because comparing the bouts of Manny and Flloyd againts these two boxers who they both defeated, Manny ended the Golden Boy on the ninth round by a TKO after the game was stopped and Hitman on the second round via devastating KO while the latter defeated them via Split and 10th round KO.
Is Flloyd now thinking of reclaiming his status as the world #1 pound-for-pound boxer? Does he have the guts to fight manny after seing how Manny he anhillated both Golden Boy and Hitman?
If Flloyd is willing to fight Marquez at 144lbs there should be no reason why he should not fight Manny at 144lbs. He can’t avoid it, he can do all the loud talks whenever and wherever he wants, but the way things have gone now, Flloyd has a lot to prove to himself. Well, if he’s still convincing himself as the best figther in the world now, that is.
Is Flloyd’s really best fighter on his as he claims? was it Manny? Well, there’s only on way to find out… Get ‘em on the ring.
